Images of this “South Beach” colorway of the Fly Wades began floating around the internet a couple months ago, but now it’s official – they will be releasing next Thursday, 7/7 at a retail price of $140.

There isn’t a whole lot of specific information about the release, but I would assume the quantities will be fairly limited. There are Fly Wades sitting on shelves everywhere, but these will sell out immediately in stores and online. They were designed after the wildly popular (and wildly limited) “South Beach” colorway of the LeBron 8 V1s, and much like those, the color combination on the Fly Wades is unique enough that there’s going to be a ton of people trying to get there hands on a pair.

Personally, I think there’s just too much going on with the Fly Wades in general – too many colors, too many different materials, and they’re not super comfortable either. I am a fan of this colorway, but it doesn’t compare to the LeBron South Beaches and I’m just not interested in dropping $140 on a pair.
