Three nights in a row, three new tracks – all from Wiz, Spitta, and Big Sean, and all produced by Big Jerm. “Weed Brownies” dropped tonight, continuing to fuel the rumors that began surfacing in the last 24 hours that say that there is a Wiz/Curren$y/Sean mixtape releasing in the very near future. With three songs dropping for free in as many days, it’s not hard to believe there’s more where those came from, and I can’t think of a joint project people would be more excited for than one consisting of three of the hottest artists in the game.
If I had to rank the three songs, this one would be at the bottom, but it’s more that I really liked the other two tracks and not so much that I don’t like “Weed Brownies.” I like the muffled sound of Wiz in the first verse, I think it adds a pretty cool effect, and Big Sean kills his verse that closes out the song. Curren$y’s time on the track is nothing special, but overall the song is a must listen and download, because you can never have enough of these three dudes in your iTunes library. Stay tuned for more news about a potential joint mixtape, and who knows, maybe even another new song tomorrow night.
