The first set of Concord 11 images that hit the internet last week were apparently photoshopped. The soles looked way too blue, and I couldn’t have been happier when I saw the new “official” images release a couple days ago. I’ll be honest, I breathed a huge sigh of relief because for what will be $180 out of my pocket, a classic like the Concord 11s better be done right.

As you’ll see in the new photos, the Concords are definitely right. Actually, they’re beautiful. The icy sole isn’t tinted some nonsense shade of blue, and the white mesh upper against the black patent leather midsole is about as good as it gets. In addition to the images of the shoes themselves, you’ll also see new pictures of the box, which is almost as good as the sneakers. The 11 boxes are always done right (i.e. Space Jams in ’09 and Cool Greys in ’10), and now we’re seeing that this year’s 11 release is going to be no different.
