So far in 2011, the “Year of the Rabbit,” we’ve seen two YOTR releases from Jordan – the Jordan 2011 YOTR and the Jordan YOTR Retro 7. This week, photos of the Q Flights have surfaced indicating that a Year of the Rabbit colorway of this year’s Jordan Q Flight sneaker will be releasing, completing the trio of YOTR shoes this year.
Although the Q Flights aren’t a high profile Jordan, they are very good looking to me and the $120 price tag is definitely appealing. If the YOTR Q Flights end up being priced the same as the rest of the Q Flights, picking up a pair of these for $120 would be a great purchase.
I was unable to cop the 2011s but did get my hands on a pair of YOTR 7s in May, and I love the whole Year of the Rabbit concept and how the golden brown, dark red, grey and white colors look on the sneaker (or black in stead of grey and white, in this case). It looks like these will be releasing at some point in September - no specific release date yet, but I’ll update the info as soon as I hear anything. They will likely be a quickstrike, potentially a House of Hoops exclusive, so don’t get your hopes too high if you’re looking to purchase a pair. No word yet if the Q Flights will come in the beautiful YOTR box like the 2011s and 7s did (as seen in the pic below), but my guess is that they will.
Check out the last two photos, and stay tuned for more release/pricing info in the near future.
