Kendrick Lamar stopped by Bootleg Kev and spit this crazy 70 second freestyle over Pac’s classic “Hail Mary.” Basically any video or piece of news with Kendrick Lamar in the title grabs my attention and becomes a must watch or read, and I’m very happy I watched this video (and not just once).

After the freestyle, Kendrick spoke a little bit about his irony-laden track, “Vanity Slave Pt 2″ with Gucci Mane, and then went on to drop a very exciting bit of news. Not only is his debut album 70% done, but after being asked whether he’s worked or planning to work with either of Kev’s favorite artists – Kanye and Nas – Kendrick admitted that there is a K.Dot/Nas collaboration on the way, and he may have subtly hinted that a hookup with Ye is not out of the question either.

Kendrick is one of my favorite artists in the game, and he’s got nowhere to go but up.
