It’s not often that you get the opportunity to catch one of the greatest hip-hop producers of our generation live, and it’s even less often that you get the opportunity to catch one of the greatest hip-hop producers of our generation live for as little as $5.
This Friday night, November 18th, Good Life of Boston (28 Kingston Street) is providing locals with the opportunity of a lifetime. Straight from goodlifebar.com:
“Harvard Hip Hop Archives & UGHH.com present legendary producer 9th Wonder! The man who produced the classic Little Brother albums and has worked with countless talents from Erykah Badu and Mary J. Blige to Drake, Jay Z and Lil Wayne. We’re very honored to have him spinning a special set tonight at Good Life.”
Doors are at 9 PM and there is no dress code, but do note that Good Life is a 21+… Sorry to all you under-21ers (I’m allowed to say that now as of last Saturday).
BUT, there is some good news for those who won’t be of legal age to hit up Good Life – the highly-anticipated 9th Wonder documentary entitled “The Wonder Year” (directed by Kenneth Price) is going to be screened at Harvard University on the same day, this Friday, at 4 PM. I’ve heard GREAT things about this film, and if I wasn’t going to be stuck at work I’d be there in a heartbeat. Check out the trailer below.
