Modern Notoriety has provided some pretty exciting news over the course of the past 24 hours, but I was not expecting this one. The KD IV “Weatherman,” which had its first images surface less than a week ago, will be official releasing on Saturday, December 10th at select House of Hoops and Niketown locations.

The “Weatherman” creation was inspired by Durant’s passion for, in his own words, “weather and natural disasters” when he was a kid, and the fact that he wanted to be a weatherman when he grew up. With a “stadium green” upper and a combination of volt, black, and team orange throughout, this shoe is unlike any we’ve seen before. As you’ll see in the rest of the images below, the KD IV “Weatherman” features a radar design throughout the tongue, heel, instep, and on the sole, as well as a similar design on the black strap running across the midsole.

These should retail for $95 like all other KD IVs, but stay tuned for more info. Remember, these drop 12/10, and the even more highly anticipated KD IV “Nerfs” drop a week later (12/17). Both will likely be a difficult cop, but you better believe I’m doing all I can to get both.
