A lot went on while I was isolated with no internet in Florida. Jay-Z and Beyonce had a baby, Rick Ross dropped a (sub-par) mixtape, and Boston’s own D-Note released his first-ever music video. I recently posted his latest track, “I’ll Be The Greatest,” and now, delivered in a less timely matter, is the official video for “Leave Me Alone.”
D-Note’s “Leave Me Alone” is the first single off his upcoming mixtape, The Love, The Life, The Limits, due out this spring. The track and video debuted on January 5th, and five days later, the views are already approaching 1,000. Directed by Swaggernaut Productions’ Ben Foley and Vinny Def, the “Leave Me Alone” video features D-Note in various Boston locations, delivering the deep, honest track with a level of passion that viewers can simply feel through the screen. I was on set for a portion of the video’s filming, and I got to witness D-Note and Swaggernaut Productions’ work ethics first hand – this is a solid first visual, and I can’t wait to see what D-Note, Ben Foley and Vinny Def cook up in the future.
