Boston rapper Reem has a new mixtape on the way — Hype, on February 1st — and this past week, he released the first official single.

“Trippy” is, in a word, well…. trippy… in a good way. The beat is spaced-out, the hook is catchy, and Reem flows with precision from start to finish. The track is definitely a breath of fresh heir (…..), and Reem has a unique sound I can’t wait to hear more of in a little over a week.

Shoutout to my dude D-Note (The Love, The Life, The Limits coming soon…) for putting me onto Reem. Big things coming from both. Stay tuned.
