This is CRAZY. Cam Meekins just dropped the official video for “Cut Me Off,” the first single off his upcoming project, and it is beyond dope. Co-directed by himself and Brian Petchers, the video features some phenomenal guest appearances from Mitt Romney, Jeremy Lin, Snooki, Mac Miller and more, and it might be the most fun, well-shot video I’ve seen this year.
As for the song itself, if there was ever any doubt about Cam Meekins’ legitimacy in the rap game, this should just about end all that. His alliteration is simply next level, and the flow is absolutely deadly. I’ve had it on repeat since it released a half hour ago, and I have a good feeling my iTunes play counter on this track is going to climb awfully high by week’s end. So catchy, so well-executed… and that Goyte sample couldn’t have worked any better.
