Boston rapper D-Note has been hard at work the past few months, releasing little but preparing lots for his upcoming mixtape The Love, The Life, The Limits.
As a bit of a teaser for the new project, D-Note dropped this new track two nights ago – a medley of two freestyles in one. The Beantown-bred up-and-comer goes in over A$AP Rocky’s “Bass” followed by Lloyd Banks’ “Love Me In The Hood” on this one, and the two are intertwined with a creative twist halfway through the song.
D-Note is quickly establishing himself as one of the most lyrical, talented young rappers coming out of Boston, and his wordplay and rapid flow on this “Bass/Love Me In The Hood” cover exemplify that.
Follow D-Note on Twitter and like the Facebook page. Stay tuned for more, including the new single dropping soon. It’s crazy.
