The first video off Moufy’s latest project, The Preparation, has officially arrived. “Skyline,” featuring Philly crooner Mackey, is the opening track to the mixtape, and the brand new set of visuals (shot by Decriminals) captures that passionate, high-energy Moufy the fans have come to know and love.
The Roxbury native is proving that he’s here to stay, and with this in-studio video, Moufy’s getting back to the roots of what helped him rise to prominence when he burst onto the scene last summer. “Skyline” is a heartfelt track that highlights his storytelling ability and confidence on the mic, and it’s one that speaks volumes to who he is as an artist – even more so with the accompanying video.
If you think you’re seeing a familiar face throughout the video, maybe this will ring a bell. University of Kentucky-bound basketball player Nerlens Noel, the top recruit of the Class of 2012, is one of the many Star Gang Affiliates, and he’s reppin’ proudly in “Skyline.”
