This is one of the dopest videos you’ll watch this month.
Mike Irving linked up with Evolfo Doofeht and Charmingly Ghetto – one of the most talented rappers coming out of Boston – and put together an incredibly creative song and video for “Outdated,” the latest single off his upcoming album, Until My Heart Stops.
I love music that pushes the envelope, and “Outdated” is a perfect representation of just that. The track (and video) blends three totally unique styles and approaches to music and makes it all work so well together, creating a truly memorable product.
For anyone familiar with Charmingly Ghetto’s body of work, this is unlike anything he’s done before, and in my eyes, it’s a great look. Not only does he kill his verse, but he proves his versatility in a way he had yet to go about doing so before.
The video was produced by SEMIproductions – directed by Irving himself and filmed by both he and George Warren. I can’t wait to see where the future takes Irving, both on the music and videography front. “Outdated” is quite the effort. Stay tuned for more.
